ATLANTA — October 5, 2020 — Germinator franchises continue to show rapid growth as an industry-leading sanitization, deodorization, and disinfection provider with the launch of their two newest locations. The company has secured its fifth location in North Carolina and is also launching a new location in Kansas City, Missouri. Since February of 2020, Germinator has extended its number of franchises across multiple cities in the U.S. Potential candidates have an opportunity to start a Germinator franchise of their own to provide their communities with proactive services for homes and businesses.

What Separates Germinator Apart is There Proven Technologies, Methods, and the Education They Provide
Germinator's patent-pending methodology is the most unique and cost-effective means of providing enhanced antimicrobial protection for businesses and residences. The company first tests surfaces for ATP using a luminometer to detect light that can come from cellular activity. This measurement immediately provides the level of clean on a surface.

The next step is the application of Germinator's Genesis surface treatment. Genesis is a one-step cleaner and broad-spectrum sanitizer and disinfectant treatment that harnesses the power of hypochlorous acid (HOCl). Derived from naturally occurring minerals, Genesis not only eliminates odors at their source but kills a wide range of bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, Salmonella enterica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and viruses including norovirus, rotavirus and adenovirus on hard, non-porous, environmental surfaces. It meets the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists (AOAC) germicidal spray standards for Hospital Grade Disinfection and is on the EPA's N List of products determined to meet the criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. As a result, this treatment will eliminate bacteria and viruses that may reside in your environment without the use of harsh chemicals or fumes.

Following Genesis, Germinator applies its Shield, a water-based quaternary ammonium compound that imparts a durable bacteriostatic finish. It is EPA-registered as effective against mold, mildew, algae and odor-causing bacteria. This application creates an invisible barrier that helps combat deterioration and discoloration and promotes freshness for up to three months.

The Genesis and Shield products are applied by using an electrostatic sprayer, which is the most efficient and effective means of delivering the products to the intended application sites. After Germinator's surface treatment and protectant services, the company retests ATP levels to help ensure the surfaces have achieved the intended results.

Left is Eric Hazel and Glenn Wiley of Germinator Greenville and Steve Kurtz of Germinator Kansas City
Germinator Kansas City is owned and operated by Steve Kurtz, who brings a strong background in business ownership and management to the franchise. Kurtz is a Mechanical Engineering graduate of Missouri University of Science & Technology. He spent the early part of his career in manufacturing management in the carpet industry before purchasing two HVAC companies and starting a One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning franchise in 2008. He was named the top 25 franchisees in 2020 by the One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning group within Authority Brands. His entrepreneurial spirit led to open a Germinator franchise to fill a need in the market for effective sanitizing and disinfecting. Kurtz had this to say:

"I am proud to be a part of the Germinator team to provide an essential service to the members of my community," said Kurtz. "I first started looking into sanitizing and disinfecting companies after many of my heating and air conditioning clients would bring up concerns regarding the best ways to keep their environments secure from germs, bacteria and viruses. Germinator is the best in the business. Their methods are proven effective and they put a very high value on professionalism and the highest quality customer service. I'm looking forward to launching the Kansas City franchise."

Now he can provide businesses and residents throughout the area with a new generation of microbial protection.

Germinator of Eastern NC is the fifth location to launch in North Carolina and it is operated by Glenn Wiley and Eric Hazelton. Born and raised in North Carolina, Wiley and Hazelton bring valuable business knowledge and expertise to Germinator. Prior to launching Germinator of Eastern NC, Wiley owned and operated a cleaning and restoration business where he specialized in cleaning, water damage and mold remediation services for over two decades. Wiley's background in cleaning and restoration was the perfect match to provide the eastern part of North Carolina an effective solution that helps reduce germs, viruses, and bacteria.

Now Kansas City and Greenvile, North Carolina Are Protected
The Greenville location adds to the number of existing Germinator franchises in North Carolina. The company also has locations in Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, and Durham. The CEO of Germinator, Jeff Gill, stated:

"We're looking forward to the opening of the Greenville franchise," said Jeff Gill, founder and CEO of Germinator. "Glenn and Eric are passionate about the community, and they both have extensive experience in business and customer relations. We're happy to bring them on board as the newest members of the Germinator family, and we are confident that they will continue to elevate the Germinator brand in the North Carolina market."

Germinator continues to show interest to those interested because its business model is proven to be a necessity due to the global pandemic. Jeff decided to launch franchising for the company earlier this year, before the pandemic even started, to offer potential business owners and entrepreneurs with a unique opportunity that enables them to provide a valuable service. He believes Germinator's services will help create a difference for just about anyone, and potential franchise owners will be able to provide a cleaner and more hygienic environment as it becomes more and more of a necessity during these trying times.
