ATLANTA — September 5, 2020 — Germinator franchises are continuing to expand across multiple cities nationally. Germinator has launched its fourth location in the Carolinas with its Raleigh franchise and has opened a location in Nashville, Tennessee, and Huntsville, Alabama. These new locations add to the number of franchises that have been launched since February of this year. Germinator originated in 2015 and proves to be a valuable business and industry leader for those interested in franchising and securing homes and businesses from germs, viruses, bacteria, and unwanted odors. The company continues to see growing interest from consumers and investors and has plans to open new locations in the coming months.

Germinator Franchise Extends Into Alabama, Tennessee, and in North Carolina
Germinator's patent-pending methodology is the most unique and cost-effective means of providing enhanced antimicrobial protection for businesses and residences. The company first tests surfaces for ATP using a luminometer to detect light that can come from cellular activity. This measurement immediately provides the level of clean on a surface.

The next step is the application of Germinator's Genesis surface treatment. Genesis is a one-step cleaner and broad-spectrum sanitizer and disinfectant treatment that harnesses the power of hypochlorous acid (HOCl). Derived from naturally occurring minerals, Genesis not only eliminates odors at their source but kills a wide range of bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, MRSA, Salmonella enterica and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and viruses including norovirus, rotavirus and adenovirus on hard, non-porous, environmental surfaces. It meets the Association of Official Agricultural Chemists (AOAC) germicidal spray standards for Hospital Grade Disinfection and is on the EPA's N List of products determined to meet the criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. As a result, this treatment will eliminate bacteria and viruses that may reside in your environment without the use of harsh chemicals or fumes.

Germinator Uses Proven Methods, Technology, and Educates Clients
Following Genesis, Germinator applies its Shield, a water-based quaternary ammonium compound that imparts a durable bacteriostatic finish. It is EPA-registered as effective against mold, mildew, algae, and odor-causing bacteria. This application creates an invisible barrier that helps combat deterioration and discoloration and promotes freshness for up to three months.

The Genesis and Shield products are applied by using an electrostatic sprayer, which is the most efficient and effective means of delivering the products to the intended application sites. After Germinator's surface treatment and protectant services, the company retests ATP levels to ensure the surfaces have achieved the intended results.

The Nashville franchise in Tennessee will be owned and operated by Bob Figurelli. After working in pharmaceutical sales for over 20 years in New Jersey and Manhattan hospitals and doctor's offices, Bob saw firsthand the importance of sanitizing and disinfecting, and the effects a clean environment has on employees and patients. His industry experience, coupled with the current pandemic, inspired him to open a Germinator franchise.

Figurelli's Germinator franchise isn't the only location in the Southern Region of the U.S. In fact, there are several locations in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and now introducing the new Alabama location. Germinator Huntsville, located in Madison County, Alabama, will be owned and operated by Paul Orton. He's been an educator for over 20 years, and the current pandemic led him to open a Germinator franchise in order to provide the community with a disinfection service to serve local businesses and residents. Jeff Gill, the CEO of Germinator, had this to say:

"We're looking forward to the opening of our first Germinator location in Alabama," said Gill. "Paul is a leader by nature and was the perfect choice to spearhead our launch in this new market. He's led generations of students for over 20 years throughout Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, and even across the globe. Now, he is leading the charge of bringing Madison County an option that provides proper sanitization and disinfection applications as we navigate the pandemic."

Germinator continues to serve the community the best in sanitizing and disinfecting solutions, and they're excited to welcome Clemente McWilliams to spearhead the Raleigh location in North Carolina. The Raleigh location is the fourth Germinator franchise to open in North Carolina since March. McWilliams recently opened a Greensboro Germinator location, and he's ecstatic with the company's rapid expansion thus far.

McWilliams brings nearly 30 years of corporate management experience, entrepreneurship, and community engagement to Germinator. An advocate for change and for transformational efforts that lead to more effective outcomes, McWilliams decided to open Germinator franchises in Raleigh and Greensboro to contribute to the community's demand for hygienic environments as we navigate the pandemic.

Orton, McWilliams, and Figurelli are role models to other potential franchisees who want to secure homes and businesses in their community. Gill decided to start franchising Germinator at the end of last year—prior to the start of the pandemic. He wanted to offer potential business owners and entrepreneurs a unique opportunity that utilizes a strong business model and enables them to provide a valuable service to their communities. He believes Germinator's services will help create a difference for just about anyone, and potential franchise owners will provide a revolutionary, easy to use, and reasonably priced service.
